We are looking for a high performing sales professional who is passionate about the welding process in all its forms, who can create quality relationships and network with customers and suppliers. Has a strong commitment to safety, teamwork, and strive excellent outcomes.
What You Will Enjoy Doing
* Generate & convert leads through identifying customer business growth opportunities to grow sales and/or volume density
* Actively driving new business growth in your territory – building the pipeline, owning the sales cycle, and closing deals
* Developing strong, long-term customer relationships across industrial and welding sectors
* You will conduct market opportunity assessments, provide market insights, competitor analysis, understand economic, government and industry development
* Work closely with your branch team and support network to deliver a seamless, high-quality customer experience
* Identify and help to commercialise new business opportunities in collaboration with the BOC sales team
* Further, you will provide expert advice and support to customers using your technical knowledge of welding processes and applications
* Maintaining a strong commitment to safety with a focus on zero harm to people or the environment
What Makes You Great
* You are self-motivated, relentless, and results-driven
* You hold excellent sales skills with hands on experience in preparing strategic customer action plan
* Enjoy face to face customer interactions, display confidence and eagerness in presenting our wide product and service range to our customers
* Welding or similar trade experience highly desirable
* Preferred experience in direct sales roles within an industrial / manufacturing environment
* PC skills like MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, Salesforce CRM and SAP are desirable
* You possess strong understanding of price management, solid business acumen and advance presentation skills
* Hold a valid driver license and are open for travel
