Job Description Summary:
Responsible for sorting freight and ensuring all shipments move through stations seamlessly, safely, and with care so that the company delivers on service promises.
Job Description:
1. Safely manage and internally move consignments that come in and out of stations in a timely manner.
2. Label consignments properly for efficient routing.
3. Sort consignments to the correct delivery area.
4. Work together as a team to ensure efficient turnaround times.
5. Manage opening & closing of trailers (including assisting with sealing).
6. Manage opening & closing of gates.
7. Manage restraining & un-restraining of freight (including scanning).
