Your new company
You will be joining an established independent school in Brisbane's western suburbs. The school supports students from early childhood through to middle years and is preparing to expand into senior schooling. The workplace is calm, professional, and focused on community outcomes.
Your new role
You will join as the Marketing and Communications Officer in a permanent full‐time position. You will support parent communications, whole‐school marketing, events, and administrative tasks for senior leadership. The role is term‐time plus weeks, 38 hours per week, Monday to Friday, with flexible arrangements during school holiday periods. Classification ranges from Level 4 to Level 5 based on experience.
What you'll need to succeed
1. Experience in a school environment or a strong understanding of how school marketing differs from other sectors
2. Strong written communication, editing, and proofreading skills
3. Confidence producing website and social media content
4. Experience coordinating events for families and community groups
5. Strong Microsoft 365 skills
6. Administrative and customer service experience
7. Ability to manage deadlines and work both independently and within a small team
8. Childcare First Aid and CPR or willingness to obtain
