Overview
Opportunity to undertake one of our new Carer Traineeship roles in our Tugun Care Home. These roles are part-time (minimum 21 hours per week) and include formal training and on-the-job supports, leading to a qualification outcome in Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
What you will do
As a Trainee Carer, you will participate in the traineeship, complete online modules, face-to-face instruction and on-the-job assessments designed to reflect the requirements of the role. Upon successful completion, you may transition into a full-time or part time Carer role within the care home.
Eligibility
To be eligible you must have valid work rights in Australia and be an Australian Citizen or permanent resident. Working holiday visas and student visas with work restrictions are not suitable for this role.
Training and Qualification
Bupa will support your training, including paying for education, assessment and qualification outcomes. Upon completion, you will be awarded a Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing).
