With an extremely capable new Finance Manager at their helm, they now require a a super skilled and laser-focus Accounts & Finance Officer to manage all AP and AR for their global accounts, across a multitude of projects.
This role is being offered on a 3 day per week basis (they are open/flexible to the working days).

The work you'll be taking on is extremely meaningful and ensures the smooth sailing of large scale projects including those relating to Australian defence, political matters, US officials, celebrities and dignitaries.
It's an extremely important role to keep the wheels in motion each week…
* Utilising Xero to reconcile a high volume of invoices from Australian and international suppliers as well as third party contractors on a weekly basis – attention to detail is key.
* Match invoices to specific projects and ensure all codes are correct.
* Liaising with external parties to investigate charges that may not be accurate to avoid delays or errors.
* Setting up the payment files for processing (2 runs per week) - either processing directly after approved, or ensuring it's accurate for the Finance Manager to pay at end of week.
* Managing the full AR process with third parties, ensuring accurate margins are on charged and ensuring debt management is adhered to.
* Entering of all data and running reports.
* Management and reconciliation of all subcontractor bills for each specific project, ensuring no payment deadlines are missed.
* Follow up with suppliers on any missed invoices/work/discrepancies.
* General accounts admin, including attaching and accurate filing of all documentation in Xero.

SUPER sharp accounting and finance skills, coupled with a fantastic customer-service mindset and positive attitude. You love working 'in the detail' and when a problem arises, you put on your detective hat to solve the mystery – nothing gets past you
You're fast around the keyboard and are very confident with Xero. They also use Asana for their project management but are happy to train on that package.
On top of that, you thrive working in an environment where everything can feel like it's urgent – never a boring day around their office Your ability to stay laser-focused is second to none.
Given the nature of the work, our client is seeking someone with exceptional communication skills as you will be conversing with senior officials and external stakeholders on a weekly basis.
