The Opportunity
We are looking for local candidates to join our O&M team at Sunraysia Solar Farm in Balranald as our Labourer. You will also be required to work from our Swan Hill Solar Farm as required. Play a rewarding role in exceptional maintenance of our solar farm's operations.
This role is best suited for someone local to Swan Hill or Balranald as it is not FIFO/DIDO (travel and accommodation not provided). The ability to commute to work daily is critical.
We also have the option for the successful candidate to carpool from Swan Hill to and from Sunraysia Solar Farm.

Your responsibilities as a General Labourer will be:
* Assisting carrying out maintenance checks on solar farm equipment
* Maintaining upkeep of site and plant equipment
* General mechanical maintenance such as pre-starts, greasing, blowing down, part swapping, minor diagnostics etc.
* Providing general site duties to ensure smooth operations
* Grounds maintenance (using zero-turn mowers mostly, tractor operation with slasher, chemical spraying)
* Mechanical technical skills are preferred
* You may also be requested to travel to other solar farms for a pre-determined period of time to support or train
To be successful as our General Labourer, you will have:
* Experience labouring in a similar field
* Experience with operating a Tractor and Slasher
* Experience in Chemical Spraying advantageous - Training in Certificates can be provided if not held.
* Thrive in a fast-paced environment
* Bring a positive can-do attitude and sound communication skills You must have experience with operating a Tractor and Slasher
* Valid Australian drivers license
* Ability to pass medical, drug, alcohol tests and Police Check
