With more than 1,250 dedicated employees, we pride ourselves on our people-first approach—balancing technical excellence with compassionate care.As Payroll Manager, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our large and complex workforce is paid accurately, compliantly, and on time—while also leading a capable team of six and helping us continue to improve systems and processes.The OpportunityReporting to the Chief Financial Officer, and based at our brand new offices in Osborne Park, this is a key leadership role overseeing the end-to-end payroll function for 1,250+ employees across multiple employment types and enterprise awards. You'll lead a dedicated team of six and have responsibility for continuous improvement initiatives to ensure PRC remains compliant, efficient, and responsive to employee needs.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee accurate and timely payroll processing across fortnightly pay cyclesEnsure compliance with relevant awards, legislation, and reporting obligations including STP and superannuationProvide leadership, coaching, and support to a team of 6 payroll professionalsLiaise with internal departments including People & Safety, Finance, and OperationsDrive improvements in payroll systems and processes, including future system upgradesMaintain strong internal controls, audit readiness, and clear documentationAct as the escalation point for complex payroll queries and award interpretationWhat You BringWe’re looking for a confident, collaborative payroll leader with:Proven experience managing payroll in a large, multi-site organisation (500+ employees)In-depth knowledge of payroll legislation, superannuation, and award interpretationStrong leadership and mentoring experienceExcellent problem-solving skills and a detail-oriented mindsetExperience with payroll system upgrades or process improvement projectsAbility to work cross-functionally and build strong internal relationshipsPrior experience within healthcare and using Chris21 is desired but not essentialWhy Join PRC?Join a well-established, people-focused organisation where your leadership will shape payroll outcomes for over 1,250 staff across 23 sites.
