Employment Type: Permanent Full Time

Position Classification: Clinical Nurse Consultant Grade 1, Health Clinician Level 4 (Counsellor/ Occupational Therapist/ Social Worker/ Welfare Officer), Psychologist, Senior Psychologist, Clinical Psychologist

Remuneration: $80,452.00 - $138,482.00 pa (+ superannuation + salary packaging options ) + NSW Health – Rural Health Workforce Incentive Scheme (conditions apply)

Location: Dubbo, NSW

Hours Per Week: 38

About the Role

Step into a leadership role where your clinical expertise shapes service direction, strengthens team capability and improves outcomes for children, young people and families experiencing complex mental health challenges.

As Clinical Lead for Dubbo Infant Child Youth & Family Mental Health Services, you will combine advanced clinical practice with strategic leadership. The role involves providing supervision, consultation and mentorship to a team of clinicians, guiding complex case management, and driving continuous improvement across the service. This is a role with real influence over practice standards, team culture and integrated care delivery.

We are seeking an experienced clinician with strong child and adolescent expertise, sound clinical judgement and relevant postgraduate qualifications. Candidates should bring confidence to lead, energy to uplift morale, and a commitment to delivering compassionate, evidence‐informed care within professional, legal and organisational frameworks.

Responsibilities
* Provide supervision, consultation, and mentorship to clinical staff.
* Guide complex case management of children, young people and families.
* Drive continuous improvement across the service.
* Influence practice standards and team culture.
Qualifications
* Experience as a clinician with child and adolescent expertise.
* Strong clinical judgement and evidence‐based practice.
* Relevant postgraduate qualifications.
