Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Network Engineer to design, implement, and maintain our client's network infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Cisco networking technologies, including switches, routers, and firewalls. Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and other network devices.
Troubleshoot network issues and perform root cause analysis to ensure optimal performance.
Collaborate with the IT team to integrate network services seamlessly with other systems.
Develop and maintain comprehensive network documentation, including diagrams, configurations, and procedures.
Participate in project planning and execution, including network upgrades and migrations.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior network engineers and IT staff.
Manage 70% BAU tasks and 30% project work, including hands-on involvement in MPLS to SD-WAN migration.
Requirements
Minimum CCNA certification in Routing and Switching.
5+ years of experience in network engineering with a focus on Cisco technologies.
Strong knowledge of networking protocols (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).
Experience with firewalls, VPNs, and network security technologies.
Proven project experience, including network upgrades and migrations.
Previous experience with MPLS to SD-WAN migration is highly desirable.
Ability to work in a hybrid environment, with exposure to both cloud and on-premises technologies.
Willingness to travel interstate occasionally.
Desirable Qualifications
CCNP certification in Routing and Switching.
Experience with MPLS and other advanced networking technologies.
Prior experience working in a healthcare environment.
