Overview
Concierge and Administration Worker at Launch Housing. This permanent, part-time role is based at ESCG in Melbourne and involves front-of-house operations and a range of administrative tasks, working with Case Managers, after-hours and tenancy management teams to support 65 formerly homeless tenants. Shifts are Monday to Friday, 7.30 PM – 10.30 PM.
Base pay range
A$39.81/hr - A$42.69/hr

Launch Housing is an independent Melbourne-based community organisation committed to ending homelessness. With over 400 staff across 16 locations, we provide housing, and support, education and employment services to drive change. Responsibilities
* Engage with tenants in an informal, strength-based, client-focused manner
* Monitor tenants' wellbeing and communicate issues to support and/or tenancy staff
* Facilitate referrals to external services as required
* Provide welfare support to staff for welfare checks, in consultation with day staff and/or on-call
* Assist tenants, staff and visiting professionals in accessing communal and program spaces
* Provide phone concierge services
* Report building maintenance issues and assist with access control for tenants, visitors and contractors
* Maintain transport and essential goods as needed
* Monitor entry/exit and visitor access; monitor CCTV and respond to incidents per procedures
* Maintain accurate records in Front of House systems (e.g., Communications Log, Daily Sighting Register)
What we're looking for (Key selection criteria)
* Qualifications or progress towards qualifications in Social Work, Youth Work, Community Services or related discipline (desired)
* Ability to build positive relationships with people from diverse backgrounds
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written)
* Experience working with people with complex needs
* Experience in Front of House/Reception duties
* Good organisational and time-management skills
* IT proficiency and ability to use client management systems
* Demonstrated ability to complete tasks efficiently and solve problems
