**WHO YOU ARE**
In your new role as Night Manager, you will be adaptable in your approach and equipped to manage any situation that may arise during evening hours. You will have a natural ability to think on your feet, and to resolve problems as they arise. We are seeking someone who is confident to manage first impressions and will champion fostering a safe, secure and healthy living environment for all students.
Key to this role will be your ability to ensure smooth running of all other property operations in the absence of Senior Management. You will be confident with this level of responsibility and will draw on your previous hands-on experience within a Night Manager or Student Accommodation role. Building human connections is integral to our frontline operations team - you will have exceptional communication skills (both written and verbal) and will most importantly enjoy what you do!
**YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES**
Based in Bendigo accommodation office, your responsibilities as Night Manager will include but not be limited to:
- You will oversee all overnight operations ensuring residents receive exceptional customer service experience.
- Perform various administrative and support services including perimeter checks, manage in-house quite hours, attend to emergencies and lockouts, etc.
- Act as a "Mentor" to the residents to form a friendly and open point of contact for assistance, information, and welfare.
- Advise the Management team in matters of concern regarding the welfare, wellbeing and safety of students and act under Management's direction.
- Assist the Management team with grievances and conflict resolution as required.
- Provide after hours on-call assistance to residents with the residences.
- Demonstrate current knowledge of marketing, renewals, rent payment, and other business-related items necessary to service resident expectations.
- Respond to Fire Alarms and participate in all evacuation procedures when on site.
