Tradewind is seeking a suitably qualified and committed Science Teacher, who has a passion for teaching and working as part of an energetic team committed to excellence in the classroom.
This is a full-time continuing position, commencing with us in term 3.
We are looking for teachers with experience in one of following subject areas:
* Physics
* Chemistry
* Biology
* Middle Years Science
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver engaging Science lessons aligned with the Australian Curriculum
* Employ varied teaching strategies to meet diverse student needs
* Maintain effective classroom management
* Collaborate with colleagues on planning and assessment
* Contribute to the wider school community and co-curricular activities
Essential Selection Criteria :
The applicant will have:
1. Commitment to the College's identity as a Catholic School in the Marist tradition
2. Awareness and understanding of boys' education theories and strategies
3. A clear understanding of the Australian Curriculum
4. High degree of discretion, initiative and personal organisation in the execution of
responsibilities and duties
5. Ability to work in partnership with colleagues, students and parents/caregivers
