Working as a Psychologist in Bendigo, Victoria offers a unique opportunity to deliver high-quality therapeutic services to a diverse client base. We are seeking a passionate and autonomous practitioner who can provide individual, couple, and family counselling sessions.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administer therapeutically informed assessments to clients;
2. Provide therapy to clients, managing their caseload effectively;
3. Liaise with external services and primary referrers to ensure seamless service delivery;
4. Advocate for clients and deliver outstanding evidence-based, trauma-informed, and person-centred care.
We value quality therapeutic practice over quantity of client hours, allowing for self-care between sessions and collaboration with other practitioners in the clinic. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in psychology, social work or occupational therapy, experience working with children, young people, families, and adults, and registration with APHRA.
Requirements
We are looking for a practitioner who possesses excellent administrative skills, including billing and payments, and is able to effectively manage their caseload. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing reports as needed, liaising with external services, and advocating for clients.
