Administration Officer Level 2 - Community Mental Health
Be the Friendly Face of the Greater Newcastle Mental Health Service.
Remuneration: $64,****** - $66,****** Per Annum (Pro-Rata for Part-Time) + Superannuation + Salary Packaging.
Location: Lake Macquarie and Newcastle.
Employment Type: 1 x Temporary Full Time (Maternity Relief) - ending 22nd February ****
1 x Temporary Part Time (16hr/wk).
Position Classification: Administration Officer Level 2
Hours Per Week: Up to 38.

About The Role
Join a passionate team supporting mental health services across the Hunter region. As an Administration Officer you will be the first point of contact for community members visiting our facilities, ensuring smooth daily operations and a positive experience for consumers, families and staff.
Responsibilities
Welcome and assist visitors with warmth, professionalism, and compassion.
Manage front desk and switchboard duties, directing calls and enquiries promptly and courteously.
Provide general administrative support, including data entry and documentation.
Coordinate contractor and delivery management, ensuring smooth facility operations.
Contribute to a supportive, collaborative, and community-focused workplace.
Qualifications
Adaptable and motivated individual who thrives in a busy environment and enjoys working with people.
Excellent communication and organisational skills with a commitment to high-quality administrative and customer service support.
Ability to stay calm and composed under pressure while managing competing priorities.
Strong interpersonal skills and a friendly, professional manner.
Comfortable working independently as well as part of a supportive team.
Initiative and keen eye for detail.
