The Team: The Tasmanian Eating Disorder Service is part of a nationwide program of work that is delivering innovations in the treatment of eating disorders. The Tasmanian Eating Disorder Service delivers integrated specialist care for adults with an eating disorder. This includes Community-Based Intensive Treatment (CBIT) programs in the North, North West and South and a Residential Recovery Program planned for the South. The Role: As part of the TEDS state-wide multidisciplinary team, deliver high quality mental health services in accordance with Mental Health Strategic Plan, Mental Health Service principles, National Mental Health Standards, Agency policy, legal requirements and relevant professional competencies. The Allied Health Professional – Tasmanian Eating Disorder Service (TEDS) will: Undertake the delivery of quality care to clients of the Tasmanian Eating Disorder Service (TEDS), based on best practice principles and within a recovery framework. Service delivery is within a collaborative and multidisciplinary framework, that includes those with lived experiences. Provide specialist assessment and consumer lead treatment services to clients of the TEDS and their families or carers. Promote community awareness in relation to eating disorders and develop and enhance relationships with other mental health service providers. Act as a consultant to other agencies with regard to the support and management of clients with mental health needs You will need to: Ensure the delivery of a comprehensive clinical service through relevant assessment, recovery focused case management and other recovery or trauma informed services, including specialised therapies for clients and their families or carers. Provision of evidence-based assessment and treatment interventions for clients with major and complex mental health problems, that are in line with the Tasmanian Governments and the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. Working in accordance with the development and implementation of specialised treatment programs. Actively participate as a member of a multidisciplinary team including the provision of support and consultation to other team members as required. Details of appointment: Permanent full time, day worker position, working 76 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. *notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant. Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies. Salary: $110,425 to $121,907 per annum. Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount. Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No.2 of 2022. Salary Packaging: You’ll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year other benefits if eligible. Allowances: Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme. In addition, the following allowances calculated on the salaried incremental point may be available: Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum Benefits available to eligible candidates: Professional development and accelerated pathways.
