HAYS has partnered with a builder delivering a high-rise residential project in Brisbane’s inner east. This multi-storey development is entering the fit-out phase, offering a rare opportunity to gain hands-on safety experience in a live construction environment.
Your new role
This is a site-based role designed for someone starting their safety career. You’ll work alongside an experienced Safety Manager, receiving structured training, mentoring, and coaching while supporting WHS compliance across the project.
- Assist with Safety Management Plans and ITPs
- Conduct site inductions and support toolbox talks
- Perform inspections and audits under supervision
- Help monitor WHS compliance and maintain safety records
- Use platforms like Hammertech and Procore with full training provided
- Promote a proactive safety culture across site teams
What you'll need to succeed
- Cert IV in WHS (or currently studying)
- White Card and interest in construction safety
- Basic understanding of WHS legislation (training provided)
- Strong communication and attention to detail
- Driver’s licence and willingness to learn
