We are looking for a Marketing Coordinator
The successful applicant will support the Senior Marketing Manager in delivering campaigns, digital initiatives and community engagement that strengthen Horizon Bank's brand positioning and member relationships. This role suits a motivated, organised and tech-savvy marketer with a minimum of two years' field experience who is confident working across multiple projects and keen to grow. The Marketing Coordinator will help produce high-quality content, manage day-to-day social activity, take part in event activations and ensure all activity reflects Horizon's member-first philosophy and brand standards.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign & Digital Support
* Contribute to the planning, scheduling and execution of full funnel marketing campaigns across digital and traditional channels.
* Manage day-to-day social media activity, including content creation, scheduling, monitoring and community engagement.
* Support email marketing, website updates and basic SEO/SEM activity.
* Monitor campaign and digital performance, preparing pre, post and in-situ reports with clear insights.
* Ensure all marketing activity meets compliance, accuracy and approval requirements.
Content Creation & Brand Consistency
* Produce written, visual and social content that aligns with brand standards and supports marketing priorities and tone of voice.
* Coordinate assets such as photography, videography and design requirements, including liaising with external suppliers when needed.
* Maintain brand consistency across all touchpoints, ensuring content is accurate, engaging and member-appropriate.
Community Engagement
* Coordinate Horizon Bank's involvement in community events, sponsorships and partnership activities.
* Assist with event logistics, set-ups and onsite support where required.
* Capture and promote community activity through social content and member communication channels.
Collaboration & Administration
* Work closely with the Senior Marketing Manager and other departments to support marketing initiatives.
* Maintain marketing calendars, content plans and asset libraries.
* Assist with basic budget tracking, invoicing and supplier management.
* Respond to queries from branch teams, resolving or escalating to Senior Marketing Manager as needed in a timely and professional manner.
* Coordinate printing and distribution of marketing collateral.
Qualifications and Skills
Essential:
Formal qualification (or working towards) in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
2 years+ experience in a marketing or communications role.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in social media platforms and digital marketing tools.
Knowledge of design tools and analytics platforms.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines with strong attention to detail.
Desirable:
Familiarity with SEO fundamentals, Meta, Google Analytics, and similar digital analysis marketing and ad platforms.
Experience supporting community events or customer-facing activations.
