Job Description:
Spar Supermarket Warren is seeking a dedicated and experienced Retail Manager to oversee daily operations and ensure a high standard of customer service. As a Retail Manager, you will be responsible for managing staff, inventory, sales performance, and ensuring the store runs smoothly. Your leadership will drive the store's success by maintaining product availability, meeting sales targets, and fostering a positive shopping environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Supervise and lead a team of retail staff to deliver excellent customer service.
* Manage inventory, ensuring stock levels are adequate and well-displayed.
* Oversee daily operations, including opening and closing the store.
* Monitor sales performance and implement strategies to achieve targets.
* Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues promptly.
* Maintain store cleanliness and organization.
* Ensure compliance with health, safety, and store policies.
* Train, motivate, and develop team members for career progression.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in retail management, preferably in a supermarket environment.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent customer service and communication skills.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends.
