This national retail-based company who are the leader in their field are seeking an experienced Payroll Officer to join their high performing payroll team on a full-time permanent basis. The role will be based in their Brisbane offices which are located in the Northside and offers onsite car parking.
Your new role:
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for the following:
* Employee file maintenance
* Fortnightly end to end payroll processing
* Processing holiday / sick pay
* Award interpretation
* Handling payroll queries via phone and email
* Payroll reporting and reconciliations
What you'll need to succeed:
In order to be successful, you will meet the following requirements:
* Previous payroll experience within a medium to larger sized company
* Previous experience with award interpretation
* Ability to work in a high-volume environment
* Excellent communication skills
* Highly organised with strong attention to detail
* Experience working on large payroll systems such as Chris21 / Aurion
