About the Role
As our Wellness Team Lead, you will:
Design, implement, and evaluate person-centred activity programs that support resident wellbeing, engagement, and healthy ageing.
Use evidence based tools in health promotion and person-centred care to shape high quality lifestyle experiences.
Lead, coach, and support the lifestyle team to ensure timely, responsive, and exceptional service delivery.
Collaborate with residents, families, and the care team to ensure programs are individualised, meaningful, and innovative.
Oversee day-to-day team performance, conduct reviews, and identify training needs, supporting ongoing staff development.
Monitor budgets and ensure services are delivered efficiently and sustainably.
Ensure all lifestyle services comply with Amaroo policies, procedures, and aged care regulatory standards.
Drive continuous improvement, including risk management, audits, WHS, and program enhancements.
Contribute to incident analysis, issue resolution, and complaint review alongside the leadership team.
Support recruitment and onboarding of lifestyle staff and volunteers.
We are looking for:
Compassionate, resident focused leaders with experience in aged care and or experience working with clients with dementia.
Two Years+ experience facilitating lifestyle and recreation programs.
A good understanding and experience in the aged care standards and accreditation process.
Strong knowledge of
healthy ageing principles
, person-centred care, and meaningful engagement.
Proven ability to lead and inspire a team while maintaining high standards and compliance.
Excellent organisational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Creativity, empathy, and a commitment to delivering activities that bring joy, purpose, and dignity.
Confidence in managing budgets, risks, and continuous improvement processes.

You will Need:
Relevant Certificate, Diploma or Degree in Leisure and Lifestyle or a related discipline.
A National Police Clearance (within the last 6 months – or willing to get one).
Australian Work Rights and willingness to take a flu vaccination.
