Senior Business Services Accountant (4-7 years experience)

Our Position
Our Business Advisory team requires a self‐motivated and enthusiastic Senior Business Services Accountant with 4 to 7 years experience. The successful applicant will be involved in providing professional accounting, advisory, management and taxation services to a diverse range of clients.
Our team are regularly involved in unique and high level assignments working with both large and often complex organisations. The successful candidate will be prepared to learn new skills and develop their consulting expertise. The role will suit an Accountant with a desire for research and problem solving and a good understanding of general compliance and taxation issues.
Ongoing services for our valued clients will include:
* Preparation of financial statements, tax returns and activity statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and individuals
* Providing technical advice on taxation issues to clients.
* Responsibility for maintaining and growing client relationships.
* Supervising junior team members
* Assisting Directors and Managers with tax planning, research, and advice.
* Attendance of training sessions, including participation, ideas, and knowledge to enhance other team members.
About You
* You will be degree qualified with a Bachelor of Commerce / Bachelor of Business or other similar qualification.
* Have attained a CA or CPA qualification.
* Have a minimum of four years' experience in Australia in a similar role, able to prepare complex individual, company, trust and partnership tax returns.
* Competent in using Excel and other Microsoft Office products, MYOB and Xero products.
* You will also possess a high level of initiative and organisational skills, able to manage work for various clients to achieve deadlines.
* Strong research and technical skills in relation to taxation issues.
