About the role
We are seeking a passionate and experienced Chefto join our team at Hilton Garden Inn Busselton. This is a part-time position based in Busselton, Western Australia. In this role, you will play a key part in delivering exceptional culinary experiences for our guests.
What you'll be doing
* Preparing and cooking high-quality food in the kitchen
* Ability to run all sections in the kitchen.
* Ensuring that all food is cooked to the required standards and presented beautifully
* Working closely with the Chef De Cuisine and kitchen team to ensure efficiency in the kitchen
* Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards in the kitchen at all times
What we're looking for
* Experience in a la carte, function, and events is highly regarded.
* Knowledgeable & practice existing WHS guidelines & have a strong understanding of Food Safety, Food product, HACCP & Standard Operating Procedures.
* Ability to prioritise, organise, and work well under pressure
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to work well in a team
* A passion for cooking and creating delicious cuisine
* Strong attention to detail
* A positive, can-do attitude
* A flexible approach to working hours and an ability to work shifts and weekends as required
