The role
Due to growth, our well-established national client requires a sales representative/bdm to join their well-established business in the construction industry.
The Role
- Manage and follow up online and telephone enquiries
- Research, identify and create a pipeline of potential clients
- Manage the whole sales cycle from lead to quote to delivery to close, and issues
- Build relationships with existing and potential clients
- Manage the CRM system with all sales activity and correspondence notes
- Keep abreast of competitor activity
- Liaise with other sales team members and other departments
To be Successful
- Minimum 2 years in a similar business development position (internal or external)
- Experience working in the sales of products in the construction industry to Tier 1 & 2 clients
- Good relationships with construction industry clientele (a definite advantage)
- A good understanding of building pipelines and of sales strategy
- Excellent presentation skills
- Superior verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to handle the whole sales process from start to finish
- Outstanding negotiation skillsetFlexible and strategic mindset
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment and has a passion for hunting new business
- Love of pounding the pavement
- MS Office skillset (intermediate) and CRM knowledge and understanding

Job Type: Permanent
Salary: $90,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
Schedule: Day shift
