Customer Development Manager
We are seeking a highly skilled Customer Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for providing exceptional sales and service experiences for our trade customers.
You will work closely with the Channel Manager and Branch Managers to build successful business relationships with target customers within your territory. Your focus will be on proactively finding solutions to customer problems and driving sales and gross margin performance in your territory.
Key Responsibilities:
* Solve customer problems through consultation, relationship building, and understanding customer needs
* Responsibility for sales and gross margin performance of your territory
* Attend and participate in sales meetings, trade shows, and training sessions
* Achieve sales budgets
* Develop new business (business development and account management)
Requirements:
* Engaging and strong communication skills
* Sound negotiating skills
* Solutions and service-focused
* Track record in account management or business development
* Thrive in a KPI-driven environment
* Sales and/or customer management experience (automotive industry preferred)
* Ability to liaise and build relationships with customers and company stakeholders
* Experience using CRM systems
* A valid Australian driver's licence
* Passion for all things automotive
