PROJECT MANAGER

As we continue to expand, we are seeking a dedicated, experienced Project Manager to join our team and help drive our business forward.
Position Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee and deliver road construction projects across Victoria. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in asphalt, profiling, excellent leadership skills, commercial awareness and the ability to manage projects from conception to completion.
Responsibilities:
* Manage supplier/ client relationships including rates negotiations.
* Prepare estimates, tenders, and variation pricing.
* Manage projects from award through to completion including overseeing of invoicing.
* Track budgets, costs, and project profitability.
* Manage variations and progress claims.
* Support QA and compliance requirements.
* Work closely with allocations manager and supervisors to coordinate resources, subcontractors, and suppliers .
Candidates require:
* Must have a good understanding of best practices when laying asphalt.
* Must have experience in estimating/tendering for asphalt projects.
* Understanding of HSE/QA compliance.
* Minimum 3 years proven experience managing road maintenance and road construction projects, with a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices.
* Effective communication skills.
