Job Title: Disability Life Skills Support Worker
About the Role
This is a permanent part-time mobile role of at least 15 hours per week, with opportunities to pick up additional shifts to work with participants in their homes across South-Western Sydney.
The successful candidate will possess a caring and compassionate nature, along with a ‘can-do’ attitude, and genuinely seek a job where they can make a meaningful difference by building the capacity of individuals with daily living skills.
* Aiding with daily life activities and assistance for community support, such as attending a doctor’s appointment and shopping.
* Supporting individuals with their educational and work-related endeavours.
* Facilitating access to various community, social, and recreational activities.
* Assisting with transportation to enable access to daily activities and engagements.
Key Requirements
* Previous experience in psychosocial disabilities.
* Good communication skills and ability to do case notes through a mobile phone.
* Possession of a valid NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Workers Check.
* NNSW Driver's license (can be on Green P Plates), access to a reliable car and Comprehensive car insurance are required for the role.
* First Aid Certificate is also a necessary qualification.
