About the Role
">
This is a challenging opportunity for an experienced Senior Project Engineer to join our team. As a Senior Project Engineer, you will be accountable for managing allocated projects to ensure zero harm, quality, on-time delivery, customer satisfaction, and profitability. You will direct the performance of work, resources, and activities on site and report to the VIC Remedial Construction Manager.

Primary Accountabilities
">
1. Develop, review, and manage projects encompassing all elements of project delivery, including OH&S, Quality & Environment, Cost control, and client/consultant relationships.
2. Proactively lead and manage safety performance, standards, and risk on site.
3. Manage quality on a day-to-day basis, develop quality procedures according to project specifications and Australian Standards, implement on site, design review, and updates.
4. Provide technical advice with problem-solving skills.
5. Establish and maintain project cost control, inclusive of labour utilization and efficiency.
6. Build effective relationships with clients and manage day-to-day interactions.
7. Prepare accurate monthly reporting, progress claims, and sub-contractor statements.
8. Procure and manage sub-contractors and material suppliers.
9. Administer contracts and manage commercial risk in accordance with the DOA.

Qualifications and Experience
">
* Hold a degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
* Have minimum 3-5 years' Project or Site Engineer experience in the civil/construction industry.
* Possess remedial or concrete/steel repair & re-strengthening experience (preferable).
* Be proficient with Microsoft Office suite programs.
* Excel in written and verbal communication skills.

The Ideal Candidate
">
You will come from a background of experience on T1 – T3 Civil & Remedial Projects as a SE or PE, with exposure to repairs/remediation works within bridges or structures. Your strong forecasting, budgeting, and subcontract management skills will enable you to effectively manage projects and achieve desired outcomes.
