We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our hire company as an Equipment Logistics and Maintenance Coordinator. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the logistics of incoming and outgoing equipment, as well as performing maintenance tasks to ensure their optimal functionality. Your organizational skills, maintenance expertise, and possession of a valid driver's license will contribute to the smooth operations of our equipment rental services.
**Responsibilities**:
Equipment Logistics Management:
- Receive and inspect incoming equipment, verifying their condition and functionality.
- Coordinate the logistics of outgoing equipment, ensuring timely deliveries and pick-ups as per customer requests.
- Maintain accurate records of equipment inventory, availability, and location.
Maintenance and Upkeep:
- Perform regular inspections of equipment to identify damages, wear, and tear, promptly reporting any issues.
- Clean equipment thoroughly, both internally and externally, to ensure cleanliness and professional appearance.
- Check and replenish fluid levels, such as fuel, oil, coolant, as needed to prevent operational disruptions.
- Conduct equipment greasing and lubrication at specified intervals to ensure optimal performance.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of equipment conditions, maintenance activities, and any damages or repairs performed.
- Generate reports on equipment availability, maintenance schedules, and potential issues to facilitate decision-making.
- Collaborate with the administrative team to update inventory systems and ensure accurate stock levels.
Collaboration and Communication:
- Coordinate with the operations team to prioritize equipment deliveries and collections based on customer demands.
- Communicate effectively with technicians, operators, and relevant personnel to address maintenance concerns and coordinate repairs.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and offering technical support when necessary.
Qualifications:
- Preferred, but not necessary:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in equipment logistics, maintenance coordination, or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and tools.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Attention to detail and proactive problem-solving abilities.
- Basic computer skills for documentation and inventory management purposes.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with team members and customer interactions.
- Physical fitness and the ability to lift heavy objects or operate machinery when necessary.
- Possession of a valid driver's license

Part-time hours: 20-40 per week
**Salary**: $25.00 - $35.00 per hour
