This person will be the key contact for the wider business for all things IT and will support the CIO in delivering on the strategic business objectives. As the 2IC for the IT function, this person will be well positioned for continued advancement; this role is ideal for someone on the upward curve in their career.Some of the other key tasks aligned to this role will include:Lead, mentor & develop a team of 4 staff.Strategic planning for all communication, data management, networking, and infrastructure for the Australian business.Provide technical expertise and operational guidance for complex issues and projects.Change management support during the delivery of IT transformation initiatives.Build strong working relationships with business leaders internally as well as external vendors and third-party suppliers.About YOU! - (The Successful Applicant/Candidate)This role would be suited to a 'hands-on' and technically astute IT Operations Manager, Infrastructure Manager, or Lead Systems Engineer ready to make the move into management. You'll have proven experience at positioning IT as a business enabler throughout the wider business.
