Administrative Support Specialist
Bottrell Business Consultants is a leading provider of accounting, tax, business advisory, and financial planning services in Newcastle and Maitland. As the key figure in administrative operations, you will oversee daily office management, ensuring smooth workflow and exceptional service for both clients and team members.
The Role
* Office Management: Manage day-to-day office functions, including supplies, maintenance, and maintaining a professional environment.
* Administrative Assistance: Provide support to the team, handling data entry, filing, document preparation, and other administrative tasks as needed.
* Client Reception & Service: Greet clients and visitors, manage incoming calls, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere in the office.
* Scheduling & Coordination: Organize meetings, appointments, and team schedules to support efficient workflow.
* Financial Administration: Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks, such as invoicing and managing office expenses.
* Team Support: Act as a point of contact for staff, assisting with HR administration, onboarding, and ensuring office policies and procedures are followed.
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in administrative roles, preferably as an Office Manager or Administrative Assistant.
* Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with excellent attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customer-service orientation.
* Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and maintain a positive and professional office environment.
* Experience with basic bookkeeping or financial tasks is a plus.
