Responsibilities
Lead change, and champion practice uplift and excellence
Work with Educators in the centre to observe, review, and continuously enhance the educational programs for children
Deepen the team's understanding of child development and early years content, guiding the application of the Early Years Learning Framework
Collaborate with the centre leadership team to lead transformative changes and champion excellence in educational practice

About Goodstart Bayview Heights
Our centre accommodates 75 children daily across five rooms with three yards. It features a dedicated Kindergarten yard, abundant shade, natural elements, and loose parts for creative play. It is located near two shopping centres and opposite a local primary school. Flexible working arrangements may be available to support work–life balance. The team includes staff who speak Spanish, English, and First Nations languages, fostering an inclusive environment.
The Centre Director provides mentorship, guidance, and professional development opportunities, models professional standards, and supports continuous learning through training and programs. She fosters trust and collaboration to ensure high-quality care and education for children.

Qualifications
Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood Education) or a Diploma in Early Childhood (or ACECQA approved equivalent)
Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework and National Quality Standards
Current Queensland Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
