**Position Summary**
The Guest Services (Switchboard) Supervisor will be responsible for the smooth operation of the department ensuring total guest and associate satisfaction. This role will suit someone trained in a Front Office role and is looking for their next challenge as a supervisor in the world's leading hospitality company.
**About the Role**
- Support associates with any queries on shift
- Verify and adjust billing for guests
- Accommodate requests for room changes when possible
- Assign room according to guest request and preferences whenever possible
- Co-ordinate with Housekeeping / Engineering team and update room status
- Review shift logs/daily memo books and document pertinent information in logbooks
- Answer, record, and process all guest calls, requests, questions, or concerns
- Follow up with guest regarding satisfaction with guest-related issues.
- Assisting to process In Room Dining orders
**About you**
- Excellent Customer Service Skills
- Supervisory experience is preferred
- Tertiary Education in Tourism/ Hospitality and/or Management preferred
- Capable knowledge of Opera PMS
- Ability to work a 7 day rotating roster
- Proven ability to work under pressure
