Position Overview
The Manufacturing Scientist I (Value Assignment) is responsible for all testing and laboratory activities required to support value assignment of controls and calibrators for the AU product line.
This 18‐month FTC role reports to the Manager of Manufacturing Science and is part of the AU Technical Operations/Value Assignment Department located just outside Tulla in Lismore, O'Callaghan's Mills, County Clare; the position is on‐site.
Responsibilities
* Perform testing, tabulation, report generation and investigation work in relation to Value Assignment; carry out any additional duties as outlined by the manager.
* Perform linearity pool production, stock control & maintenance, validation of Excel templates and other technical data analysis.
* Perform laboratory maintenance, equipment calibration & maintenance.
Qualifications
* Bachelor's Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry or equivalent.
* Knowledge of quality assurance and GMP/FDA/ISO regulations.
* Familiarity with handling chemicals, biohazardous materials, enzymes and laboratory equipment and analyzers.
* Graduate entry or equivalent experience.
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in Clinical Chemistry or Immunology reagents.
* Experience with quality assurance under GMP/FDA/ISO regulations.
