About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Psychologist to join our team in delivering high-quality mental health services to Australian Defence Force (ADF) personnel.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, you will work closely with colleagues to support the diverse mental health needs of military members. You will be responsible for conducting comprehensive mental health assessments and delivering evidence-based interventions. Your skills and expertise will enable you to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds and provide tailored support to meet their unique needs.


Key Responsibilities:

* Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments using psychometric tools and other methods
* Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client needs and goals
* Provide counseling and therapy sessions to ADF personnel and their families
* Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement mental health programs and initiatives
* Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices and research


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will possess:

* A Master's degree in Psychology or a related field
* Current registration as a Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
* Minimum 2 years post-graduate experience in mental health settings, including assessment and intervention delivery
* Recent participation in Continuous Professional Development (CPD) activities
* Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (HLTAID009) certification
