We're a robust Victorian Government statutory authority that's making an impact. As we embark on an exciting transformation journey, we need you to join us as a Support Officer. As a Support Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth delivery of WIC's conciliation services. You will assist Conciliation Officers and Dispute Officers by performing a range of administrative and system-based tasks, ensuring that Injured Workers and other parties are efficiently progressed through a high-quality service. This role includes tasks such as scheduling a conference, creating large file sharing links to distribute to stakeholders, compiling and sending of medical panel requests, managing team emails, updating and accessing WIC's case management system, as well as various ad hoc requests from your direct manager as the need arises. You will be joining a newly created team with 16 Support Officers total, and along with your demonstrated experience operating in an administrative support capacity you will bring your positive work ethic and collaborative style, ensuring you execute administrative tasks to support delivery of a high-quality service. Who we're looking for: To succeed in this role, you will have: * Well-developed communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders and resolve basic enquiries where required * Strong verbal and written skills with the ability to deliver initial basic advice and exchange of information effectively in a timely manner * Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g. Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel). * Demonstrated understanding and commitment to discretion and integrity, evidently trustworthy when in knowledge and possession of confidential and sensitive information and data * Positive work ethic demonstrating self-motivation and initiative For further information, please refer to our position description which you can access through our careers site.
