Develop and maintain demand forecasts for assigned product categories, using historical data, market trends, and commercial inputs.
Collaborate with sales and commercial teams to capture insights and align on demand planning assumptions.
Analyze demand patterns to identify potential risks and opportunities to optimize inventory levels and meet customer service levels.
Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure timely availability of product for sale
Interrogate inventory levels and implement appropriate strategies to minimize excess inventory and backorders.
Conduct regular inventory analysis and identify slow-moving or obsolete items, recommending appropriate actions to mitigate risks.
Generate and maintain accurate reports and documentation related to demand planning, inventory management, and supply chain performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to improve forecasting accuracy and supply chain efficiency.Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and customer demand patterns to ensure proactive planning and decision making.Use inventory management software and forecasting tools effectively to streamline processes and improve operational efficiencies.

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or a related field. APICS certification preferred! Demonstrated experience in demand planning, inventory management, or supply chain analytics. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and make informed decisions. Proficient in using inventory management software and advanced Excel functions. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams. Meticulous with strong organizational and time management skills. Adaptability to flourish in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, balancing multiple priorities and to achieve project timelines. Knowledge of forecasting techniques and demand planning methodologies. Familiarity with supply chain concepts, including lead time, safety stock, and order cycle. Continuous improvement mentality, with a focus on streamlining processes and driving operational excellence.
