The Groups Supervisor role is responsible for delivering reliable, friendly service to transient and group guests while supporting the hotel’s commercial strategy. It oversees group accommodation from enquiry through billing, leads the Reservations team, and supports leadership in recruitment, performance, and development.
What will I be doing?
* Support leadership in recruitment, development, meetings, and team management.
* Lead weekly groups meetings and participate in commercial strategy meetings.
* Attend required learning & development programs.
* Manage incoming group enquiries professionally and in line with brand standards.
* Prepare customised proposals and agreements promptly.
* Negotiate commercial terms and gather market intelligence.
* Develop strong customer partnerships and prioritise workload to meet response targets.
* Ensure accurate group revenue forecasting across systems.
* Manage deposits per contract terms.
* Prepare group arrival sheets and communicate with departments.
* Review and input rooming lists accurately.
* Prepare invoices and process commissionable revenue.
* Ensure bedroom invoices are accurate and sent promptly post stay.
* Deliver loyalty program benefits and promote Hilton Honors enrolment.
* Ensure enquiries are responded to within 24 hours.
* Process transient reservations efficiently with strong customer focus.
* Conduct regular audits for reservation accuracy.
* Maximise bedroom sales and maintain strong product knowledge.
* Maintain understanding of the local Brisbane market.
* Ensure accurate data input in all hotel systems.
* Liaise with Finance for compliance with credit and billing procedures.
