About the Role

An opportunity exists for an experienced administrative professional who thrives working in a fast paced and complex work environment. Working in conjunction with a team of professionals, this position will be responsible for the provision of high-level administrative support to the Infection Prevention and Control Team primarily at Horsham and the GH Infection Prevention and Control department as required.


Skills and Experience

* Demonstrated experience in the provision of, or the ability to provide, confidential, secretarial and administrative support
* Proven ability to manage workload and prioritisation with minimal supervision; ability to draft correspondence and other written documentation with minimal direction as required.
* Word processing and keyboard skills


Key Responsibilities

* Maintaining accurate availability in our electronic rostering system and accepting shifts based on availability
* Demonstrated ability to function within a team
* Flexibility to work across a variety of locations and shift times
* Provide a high standard of administrative support
* Accurate data entry into required software systems
* Willingness to learn and the ability to prioritise tasks
* Participate in annual performance reviews
* Commitment to ongoing mandatory education


Additional Skills and Experience

* Demonstrated high level communication to be able to interact with a wide variety of individuals
* High level computer skills are essential for this role with particular emphasis on accurate data entry
* Demonstrated person‑centred care and respectful approach to patients, visitors and staff
* Prior experience in a health setting would be advantageous but is not essential
* Current Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain is essential
