Sorters
Roster: Initial 3-month casual duration with the potential to move to permanent direct with the client | Working Monday to Friday, 7.00am to 3.30pm
Duties & Responsibilities:
* Sorting recyclables from conveyor line - fast moving conveyor, repetitive work, noisy and dusty environment
* Cleaning of working areas and outside
* Audit waste as required by Local Council Representatives and clients, and provide accurate reporting as required on time to a high standard
* Perform maintenance and/or safety checks on equipment as required
* Review existing procedures on a regular basis, with a focus on continuous improvement and safety
* Operating Forklift or Loader
Skills and Experience:
* Forklift & Loader Licence
* Experience in bailing or previous waste experience
* Good work ethic
* Ability to complete repetitive, mundane tasks - working on a sorting line for long periods of time can make you feel seasick
* Commitment to safety & Self-motivated
* Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team with high attention to detail
