We're on the hunt for a Communications Manager to join our team in Sydney. Reporting to the Head of Corporate Affairs ANZ, this is a dynamic and high-profile role where you'll be at the heart of storytelling, media engagement, and strategic communications across our creative agencies, including Saatchi & Saatchi, Leo Burnett, Digitas, Prodigious, Publicis Worldwide and more.
What you'll be doing:
1. Drive and strengthen the profile and reputation of Publicis Groupe and our creative agency brands within the business and advertising community
2. Crafting compelling media releases, opinion pieces, and award submissions
3. Managing media relations and acting as a key liaison between journalists and spokespeople
4. Uncovering compelling stories through conversations with brand leaders
5. Creating engaging content for our social media channels
6. Supporting internal communication initiatives
7. Building strong relationships with key business and marketing journalists
8. Keeping across key conferences and award programs
* Supporting the development of strategic communications and marketing plans
What we're looking for:
9. 3–5 years of experience in communications, public relations or journalism
10. A confident and creative storyteller with exceptional writing skills
11. A strong communicator who thrives working with multiple stakeholders
12. Experience or a genuine interest in the advertising and creative industries
13. Calm under pressure, collaborative, and organised
14. A natural at spotting great story angles and innovative ways to boost brand reputation
* Tech-savvy and socially engaged
