About Our Role

This key position is responsible for making excellent first impressions on our customers and being the face of our organization.

You will utilize your exceptional administration skills to direct inquiries to the appropriate area in a timely manner and provide operational support to your colleagues.

The successful candidate will find balancing day-to-day tasks easy with strong time management and organizational skills.

You will be proficient in using Microsoft office software and have experience taking accurate queries by phone and using a customer relationship management system.

As the first point of contact for all visitors, you have a professional and friendly demeanor, even when dealing with a wide range of people.

Teamwork is essential as we work closely to assist customers into quality employment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

* Demonstrate excellent administration skills, attention to detail and computer literacy; including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite;
* Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills;
* Demonstrate experience in a busy reception or front-of-house role dealing with a wide range of members of the public;
* Prove your ability to maintain a calm and professional approach when dealing with difficult situations;
* Demonstrate your ability to work with culturally or linguistically diverse people, ex-offenders, youth and disadvantaged groups;
* Awareness of the Employment Services industry and ability to prepare and edit resumes (desirable).

Required Skills and Qualifications:

* Intermediate to high-level administrative skills including ability to type at a minimum of 30 wpm.

Remuneration:

A competitive salary will be negotiated commensurate with skills and experience. As we are a public benevolent institution, we can also offer a portion of the salary through tax-effective salary packaging.
