We are currently seeking an Environmental Officer for a four (4) month casual role in Hay Point Qld, commencing in early January ****. A current Drivers Licence is required.
There may be an opportunity for an extension to the role or a permanent position offered if suitable, after a qualifying period.
Role / Duties
Project Management, Water Release, Sampling, and Results Analysis, Environmental Management Plans, General Document reviews and consulting with departments.
Roster : To be finalised - Roster may be 5/2 or 7/7 DIDO.
Qualifications
A university degree (undergraduate or postgraduate)
Environmental engineering
Equivalent Qualifications:
Graduate certificates and graduate diplomas in environmental management are also accepted.
Other closely related disciplines may be considered
Experience
Substantial experience in environmental management or a related field may also be considered.
Skills
The ability to plan and prioritize a workload, strong written and verbal communication skills, and knowledge of environmental legislation are required.
Pay Rate Junior: $***** per hour
Pay Rate Senior: $***** per hour
