Please note: This is not a FIFO position. Applicants must be currently living in the Goldfields region to be considered.

Key requirements:
* Proven blast hole drilling experience in open pit mining (top hammer or down hole hammer)
* Proficiency operating Sandvik DP1500i
* Strong understanding of drilling patterns, depths, and consumable selection
* Ability to complete daily drill logs, hole layouts, and pre-start inspections accurately
* Demonstrated commitment to safety, environmental compliance, and quality standards
* Ability to identify and report ground conditions, hazards, and equipment faults promptly
* Capable of working autonomously and as part of a close-knit production team
* Sound knowledge of blast hole charging and stemming procedures (advantageous)
* Basic mechanical aptitude to assist with minor servicing and maintenance
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* Current Australian Driver's Licence (HR preferred)
* Current National Police Clearance (within 6 months)
* Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
