About the role
We're looking for a caring and dedicated Boarding Supervisor to join our boarding community. A qualified bus driver would be an advantage. This position is casual.
As a Boarding Supervisor, you'll play a vital role in supporting the wellbeing, safety, and daily routines of our boarding students. You'll join a supportive team of committed staff who work together in partnership with parents to create the best possible living and learning experience for every student in our care.
Responsibilities
* Support the wellbeing, safety, and daily routines of boarding students.
* Build positive, trusting relationships with young people, fostering inclusion, value, and confidence.
* Demonstrate strong communication skills, good judgment, and a calm, approachable manner when guiding students through daily routines and challenges.
* Promote respectful behaviour, encourage independence, and help students develop essential life skills in a supportive and structured environment.
* Respond sensitively to individual student needs, ensuring their safety and wellbeing at all times.
* Embrace Catholic values, prioritise student care and wellbeing, and help create a welcoming, supportive environment.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Preferred: Qualified bus driver.
* Must hold a current Paid Blue Card (Working With Children Check) before commencement.
* Experience caring for young people and working in a boarding setting is desirable.
* Strong organisational and communication skills.
