The Role
Our Lenah Valley site in Hobart manufactures a range of more than 50 milk, milk-based and cream products, with all products made from fresh milk sourced directly from Tasmanian dairy farms. The site currently produces around 33 million litres of product every year, operating 6 days a week and employing around 50 people.
Candidates are required to be available 3 days per week. The roster runs Thursday, Friday, Saturday, with Sunday off, then continues on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, 7 days off. Each shift is 8 hours per day.
Responsibilities
Follow safety protocols to perform basic machine adjustments and monitoring
Monitor production process and inspecting finished goods to ensure quality standards are met
Recording/ Reporting of production data - including completing downtime sheets
Ensuring production areas are cleaned up to quality standards
Adhering to company safety and quality policies and procedures
About you
Experience in a FMCG environment preferred but not essential
Really good multi-tasking skills - solid ability to manage and keep an eye on multiple things at one time
Positive attitude, attention to detail, and willingness to learn
Mechanical aptitude, strong computer literacy
Self-starter and proactive nature and strong problem-solving skills
