Position Overview
We are looking for proven site leaders who take pride in their work and have a strong focus on safety, quality, and team development. The successful candidates will play a key role in overseeing daily operations across multiple civil construction projects, ensuring works are completed efficiently, safely, and in line with company and client expectations.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and manage day-to-day site operations to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification.
* Coordinate and supervise crews of operators, pipelayers, and labourers, fostering a high-performance culture.
* Promote and enforce safety standards, ensuring all personnel follow company procedures, SWMS, and legislative requirements.
* Conduct site inspections, pre-starts, and toolbox talks, ensuring proactive risk and hazard management.
* Support HR and WHSEQ teams with incident reporting, corrective actions, and continuous improvement initiatives.
* Provide mentoring, coaching, and skills development to team members to support a strong safety and performance culture.
* Monitor productivity, quality, and resource use, and communicate progress and issues effectively to project management.
* Maintain accurate and timely site documentation, including daily reports, attendance records, and equipment logs.
* Uphold company values and contribute to a respectful, positive, and collaborative work environment.
