About the Job
We're seeking a technically strong risk and assurance professional to support the delivery of our Health and Safety strategy. You'll lead critical risk workshops, conduct audits, and provide trusted advice across the business.
This role plays a key part in embedding our critical risk program and supporting health and safety initiatives and broader people-related compliance matters. You'll work collaboratively across operational and corporate teams to co-design, monitor, and report against our Assurance and Compliance Plan and Register.

About the Person
The ideal candidate has strong skills in facilitating risk workshops and guiding diverse stakeholder groups through complex assurance activities. They bring proven capability in WHS audits and assurance procedures and are skilled at identifying where business areas are not meeting compliance expectations.
You will:
* Lead risk workshops and stakeholder engagement across a range of business functions.
* Monitor and report against the Assurance and Compliance Register.
* Support the design and implementation of the WHS assurance program.
* Conduct and oversee critical risk control verification audits.
* Provide expert advice on compliance matters, including ISO Standards.
Your success in this role will come from:
* Excellent understanding of Health and Safety risk management principles and Safety Management systems.
* WHS Systems Audit Qualification or equivalent exposure and experience.
* Minimum Cert IV qualification in WHS or equivalent exposure and experience.
* Knowledge and understanding of the interpretation and application of WHS legal obligations.
* Excellent communication and people skills.
