Overview
We have multiple opportunities available for experienced Registered Nurses (Level 1 & Level 2) to join our District Nursing team. The District Nurse provides person-centred, evidence-based nursing care to individuals in their homes and community settings. The role is designed to support clients with diverse and often complex health needs, promoting independence, dignity and quality of life.
These positions require excellent assessment and problem-solving skills for the ongoing care of consumers in their home. They require nurses who have the ability to prioritise patient care, escalate patient care and be flexible to meet the demands of a changing day-to-day business. The successful applicants will have sound clinical and communication skills and may have the opportunity to progress to Level 2 upon fulfillment of training and on-call requirements. District Nursing is provided to the Baw Baw Shire 7 days per week. These roles will require nurses to work on a rotating, flexible roster, including morning and afternoon shifts.
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Nurse with well-developed skills and knowledge in wound management and the care of CVADs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong clinical assessment abilities and effectively communicate with individuals, team members, and key stakeholders. You will thrive in a multidisciplinary environment and contribute to clinical education as part of your role. You will be adaptable, able to meet deadlines in a dynamic healthcare setting, and provide high-quality, direct patient care and advice when needed. Proficiency in computer use, flexibility to work across all shifts, and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision are essential. If you are passionate about patient care and ready to make a meaningful impact, we’d love to hear from you.
We have a permanent full-time position and up to 89 permanent part-time hours available, split as needed. We offer a friendly, team-focused work environment, comprehensive orientation to the department and organisation, in-house salary packaging and free car parking. Further information is contained in the Position Description.
