Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Special Education Teacher located in Shepparton, VIC. The Special Education Teacher will be responsible for teaching students with Intellectual Disabilities and other comorbid diagnoses, developing individualised education plans (IEPs), utilizing a variety of teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles, and maintaining open communication with parents and other staff members. The role includes adapting curriculum materials, implementing behavioral management strategies, and supporting the emotional and social development of students.
Qualifications and Attributes
- Experience in Teaching and Special Education
- VIT Registration (Including Provisionally Registered)
- Knowledge and skills in working with students with Disabilities
- Solid Communication skills
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Patience, empathy, and a positive attitude
- Teaching Qualifications/licensure
