Position Summary
The Support Worker will provide assistance to clients inaccordance with their individual NDIS plans, promoting independence,safety, and overall well-being.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide support to Child Safety Clients
* Assist with daily living activities,including eating, dressing, bathing, and grooming
* Provide transportation support toappointments and community activities
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date recordsof client care plans and progress notes
* Communicate effectively with clients,families, and other members of the care team
* Adhere to all health and safety policiesand procedures to ensure client well-being
* Participate in ongoing professionaldevelopment to remain current with NDIS best practices

Requirements
* Minimum of a high school certificate or equivalent
* At least Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability, AgedCare, or related field), or willingness to work towards completion(highly regarded)
* Lived experience and/or paid experience supporting people with disability (PLUS with Child Safety)
* Must be currently located in Australia at the time of application
* Must hold valid work rights and lawful permission to live and workin Australia at the time of application (VISA sponsorship not available)
* Availability to work across day shifts, night shifts, sleepovers,and weekends
* Strong understanding of the NDIS and its Practice Standards
* Sound knowledge of health and safety regulations and duty of care obligations
* Ability to work with a diverse client base, demonstrating culturalawareness and sensitivity to varying abilities, backgrounds, andcommunication needs
* Basic care skills, including first aid (or willingness to obtain)
* Strong computer literacy, including proficiency in MicrosoftOffice and basic digital systems
* Access toongoing training and development opportunities.
